Retroquik kit bixenon + functional led 9005 drl bulbs?

Both my led drl bulbs burnt out for some reason and I was wondering if it could be from my bixenon setup??? anyone have a bixenon retrofit and running led drls? (the 9005 bulbs)

Yup.. I'm runnin retrofits and led DRL's.. So far no problems what so ever

damn they probably just burnt out then huh... there's no way to really mess up the splitter

Yeah running the splitters from TRS.. Some bulbs do short out.. They run hot.. Very hot, and I've seen them melt the solder and short out

Ive dealt with some really high end LED, and they run hot to, even with the proper heat sinks, they are still turning energy into light so making heat.. it needs to run as cool as possible, but when you make a 120 chip circuit in such a small package, they are going to get hot

I think the difference lies in what we mean by hot.

I know heat is produced. Just mean they should not run hotter than traditional bulbs or HID's if the unit is built properly.

My LED's are from concept3led. A vender here on the site.. I believe he has his products in the group buy section..
