FBM install assistance
Hey guys, can someone advise on where to weld the bung on the oil pan? We're at a bit of a standstill and I'm having a tough time getting ahold of FBM. The instructions there litterally say
NOTE: Finish oil pan instructions and add pictures So I'm guessing I got an old flash drive or something. Thanks! |

The oil return should be as close to the top of the pan as possible, and at a downward angle so as not to cause any resistance on return. It should not come close to any pulleys. It can only really go in a certain place to work properly, but that place is pretty obvious when you get under the car.

Install your oil return line on turbo, mount fitting to said line and see where it goes. Mark it and install it there

Plus I know it's obvious but just keep it in mind you'd want to make sure that where its gonna sit you can still access the bolts to the pan, don't wanna do things twice and it's easy to over look silly things like that if rushing or getting stressed/frustrated

Gen, it is the top right front corner. You want to mock everything up to insure you have it correct. Let us know if you still cannot figure it out

I suggest if you weld it urself to fill it with water before you install it on the engine. There could be a tiny tiny pinhole that will make a mess with time. The water will leak out right away if ghe is any hole

I ordered the base kit on 3/19 and now I'm getting nervous about the install. Have the instructions been completed for new USB sticks? I'm planning on having a shop (Works Motorsports in Sonoma, CA) do the install but still want clear instructions
