It actually weighs more... I had someone that installed it on their FR-S weigh them both and the OEM hood was lighter and the Seibon hood fit like crap.

This guys never gives up on hating on the Seibon products.

It is not high end show car fitment. Mine fits as good as my OEM.

As for weight, mine weighs more than stock. Barely. Others have had them that weigh less. Barely. It just depends on the specific hood. But, if you are looking at this hood for weight savings, you're dumb. The stock hood is ridiculously light. This is an aesthetic mod (for those who like it).

GLWS.

Nope, you're right and I never will. They sell junk and have the worst customer support. I am not stating anything that isn't true so I don't think I'd call it "hating".. I prefer to call it pointing out the facts.

Hard to call your opinion "facts" when my vehicle is contradicting proof. This is an individuals for sale thread, not a Seibon advertisement. There's no need to hinder his ability to sell his parts. If someone wants to buy it, let them research for themselves without cluttering his thread.

I was simply commenting on Sportguys comment.

Lastly, your hood is no different unless its magically lighter than every other one Seibon produced.

OP, glws!!
