Mic for engine bay

What mic are you guys using for the engine bay. I am using an iphone to video record my sessions but I would like to get some more visceral sounds.

This is the one I use:

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Olympus-ME-52W-Noise-Canceling-Microphone/dp/B000MYPPPE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1363143876&sr=8-1&keywords=olympus+microphone"]Amazon.com: Olympus ME-52W Noise Canceling Microphone: Electronics[/ame]

However, if you have an aftermarket exhaust (which I think you do), it would probably sound better if you clip the mic behind the rear license plate. The BRZ stock exhaust makes ZERO noise, so putting a mic there is worthless. You get better tire noise down by the rear license plate too.

But I love how you captured the shift clicks. I'll try both ways.
