Header question

Currently have ark catback and ark test pipe. Would getting a header throw a CEL? Is the primary cat or "was" where the test pipe is now? Sorry for the elementary Q.

Unless you get a catted header you will throw a cell. Most people delete the second cat without issues but the first cat (the one thats in the header) will be a problem.

Thanks to both of you for the replies. Well in that case, it's either a catted header orrrr some kind of compromise since my test pipe deleted the cat. any suggestions? I did read the first post via the link, BUT there was no result.

When Nameless releases their equal length chatted header, get that. A lot of us are holing out for it. Hopefully the production unit has the same gains, because it's looking awesome.

Haven't seen the dyno numbers, but the primaries on the Nameless unit look a lot longer. FT86SpeedFactory gives amazing deals and has equally fantastic customer support, which is why it really hurts me to say wait for the Nameless unit. But just wait.

1) Nameless header (AFAIK) will be catless.

2) If you get a header and a tune, it won't matter that you have no Cats, the tune will take care of the CEL

3) There are O2 sensor spacers available that you can fit into the second O2 sensor and get rid of the CEL that way.
