Your winter wheels are wider than your OEM wheels

??

Relax man, I'm complimenting them (or poking fun at our narrow OEM wheels). No offense intended.

Did you compare the tread width on the 205/50's to the stock 215/45's? My snows (205/50/17 as well) look much wider than the stock tires, but I haven't actually held them up beside each other.

So this sucks... Been tryin to figure out what I'm going to do for a week or so now.

One of the wheels is a +35 offset and the other 3 look to be altered (machined down) to a 52 offset... Didn't notice it until it was too late. Anyone ever heard of wheels beeing machined down by this much? Any thoughts on what to do to make this set work?

Pictures:

Machined down (hubcentric ring installed)

Untouched stock offset (missing hubcentric ring)

Looks like an awful lot of material removed, especially for a cast wheel. No real way of knowing if there are cracks or other issues.

Anyone else have some advice or insight? I may just bolt up two of them to the rear until I can figure out what to do.
