DIY Request- Removing Beat Sonic Antenna

Does anyone know how to remove beat sonic antenna w/o harming paint. Any tips and tricks would be great. Also the reason why i am removing it is because i will be installing a modelista antenna pretty soon. Thanks!

Your friend overheated the paint and melted the plastic (the emblems are sitting on plastic bumper and trim piece)

The place you are heating is metal; so it will withstand the heat better.
Just be careful of melting the fin... and perhaps the antenna base underneath it... (don't recall if the base was metal or plastic)

Good luck!
