Beastronix Fan Switch Question

Hey folks, I just picked up a used 2017 BRZ with a Beastronix v1 installed.

I noticed that the radiator fans are always on when the engine is on, regardless of the fan switch position. Can anyone tell me if this is working as expected or not? If it is, what does the switch do?

Every install was a little different. Hard to say. Also a/c on runs both fans. Need more info/troubleshooting. You should be able to unplug the beastronix and the behavior should be factory at that point.
