?Any difference between Subaru and Toyota atf fluids?

I have searched for information on difference between Subaru and Toyota ATF fluids for the Twins and cannot understand why one specifies WS while the other one (Subaru) doesn't. I want to also ask if it makes a difference of which shop to go to for service since Toyota makes the Transmission. I have a Scion FRS but I take it to Subaru for motor related servic, and was wondering if I should do the same for transmission work. Any suggestions???
Thanks

Fluid will be the same, it's the same transmission. Either shop should be capable of working on the transmission because it's not special like the engine. Really you shouldn't be going to the dealer for service if you can help it because they charge more for the same thing

As long as the shop knows how to check the level and not dump and fill once.
