Hello All,

I am in the market for new tires I am Currently running 215/45/17 However, I am making 360WHP and need something a bit wider I was thinking of 225F 225 or 235R The problem is I am not to sure how wide I can go without rubbing on the bags. Any help would be very much apricated

I would measure the clearance you have currently and do some math based on that.

The tune can be used to compensate for some traction loss. If you get a 200tw or a 100tw tire it;ll hold in a smaller width. A 200TW tire in a 225 width has better grip than a 245 or 255 400TW tire, I'll guarantee it.

If you're using a turbo, the tuner can change how boost comes on and remove torque from low end to be sure you're not overwhelming the tires from a more sudden change in power, VS having it ramp in smoothly. I'm making a lot of assumptions here, but we don't have a whole lot to go on.

TL; DR- Changing the width of your tire is not the only answer
