Finally a good looking bumper protector by Toyota!
So I was recently rear-ended. Minor next to no damage underneath my rear license plate. According to the body shop it was $1,200 for the repair and replacement of a new bumper. Well I pocketed that $1,200 from the insurance company and got a $45 bumper protector for a 2016 Toyota Corolla. Here is the part number: Toyota (PT278-02140). Every other bumper protector sold for the FRS BRZ and GT86 looks like crap. It looks like a universal strip that you just cut to size from your local auto store. My sister just happenex to own a 2016 Corolla with this bumper protector on it and I measured it and looked at it and looked at my car and realized it would be the perfect fit! It's installed that looks like it was made for this car! There's even a tiny little arrow on the bumper gaurd to mark the center line.

I prefer the clear PPF over black trim.
I think it makes the area look too busy |

I needed to cover a crack in the paint with spiderwebbing over the clear coat. I needed the band aid lol.

This is what I was covering up. I needed tires and got a set of Firestone Indy 500s. I was happy with the compromise of a new set of tires and this black bumper guard. I definitely would prefer my bumper not to be damaged and it just be stock without the guard, but I'm good with this. By the way ... I just searched the part number on eBay and looked for the best price.
