What NEW features were added in the BRZ 2017 Facelift?

Hi all,

I'm very on the fence right now between a pre and post facelift brz, from what I can tell it added some neat features to the dash, but I can't tell which features are new. And I can't get a solid answer on bluetooth or paddle shifters. So my question is as simple as what new features were added, if the pre facelift version had a feature but it was hidden away then that doesn't bother me much. Coming from a 97 bmw 740i so I got kinda used to having all the extra trip info and such from the dashboard.

manual has a more aggressive final drive. Engine makes slightly more power (5hp) and has a super sweet red intake manifold.

There's a small screen that shows stuff like corning g's, dyno graph etc.

I would go with the 17+ just because they updated the TOB which is a very common problem with the 13-16 (Had to get mine replaced myself)

i've been thinking about getting a '17 and downgrading the front facia so i get the engine block and chassis rigidity improvements over my '14...

but i don't like the steering wheel controls or the gauge display.

The 2016 manufactured 17s have the problem as well. There was a separate TSB issued to cover them. It was a rolling change so an actual cut off date seems to be impossible to find.

Did they put an oil pressure gauge in it? I know better than to ask for oil temp.

You should have asked for an oil temp gauge instead. Read page 52 of what I attached before.

Oh it is all linked so you can go to the separate categories. Just put your cursor over the appropriate sub section and click your mouse button.

Here I go Tcoat.. but uh, you wouldn't have a link handy for that TSB would you? I don't remember you mentioning there being a TSB when I mentioned the clutch issue a few weeks ago. Hmmm.

I can't remember everything all the time!
We only ever got the number and no copy of the update. I will have to dig it up for you. It was just the ones made in 16.
