OFT Crawford Blocks FLKC
Hi there,
I am currently running Works Drop-In Filter, Perrin Inlet Tube, PLM UEL Headers on this setup when I installed the power blocks. Using OFT Stage 2+ v4.02 After solid pulls on 3rd and 4th Gear.. I get some knock around the 6000+ rpm ranges. Could someone please take a look and make suggestions so I can adjust. Here is the current layout on my OFT: Knock Correction Max A: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1W6...n6OXBMTZZx8ysn Timing Compensation A&B https://drive.google.com/open?id=15J...W10pczwVwyTokL Data Log: https://datazap.me/u/mpare024/crawfo...og=0&data=1-11 Additionally: In about a week I have a grams throttle body and Perrin Cold Air intake (2.75) will be installing. I have the MAF curves and will use the Perrin Settings. Will the Throttle body increase FLKC and have to adjust again? I will take data pulls once installed Last edited by DeltaEcho; 04-19-2018 at 02:14 PM. Reason: Added graphics/info with working Links |

OFT went through multiple maps over the past 4 years. This is why this is a separate post. |

I can see that your car is pulling timing, but there is not enough additional data to determine why it is pulling timing.
What is your Advance Multiplier? Given you're seeing positive FLKC, that usually means the Advance Multiplier is less than 1, which then also means it's pulling timing in other areas that are not in this log. What I can see is that in the areas you're pulling timing, fueling is a bit lean at 12.5-12.8 or so. At 6,000+ RPM, making things a bit richer here can help quite a bit with taming this timing correction. I'd try richening it up to between 11.8 and 12.3 in this area, and seeing if that helps. If it still corrects the same amount, pull the appropriate amount of timing out of your Knock Correction Advance Max maps. -Zach |

As avove it looks lean likely causing knock
Good set of parameters to log is Engine Speed (rpm) Throttle (percent) MAF Voltage (volts) Engine Load (g/rev) Ignition Advance / Total Timing (degrees) AFR Commanded AFR / Target AFR STFT (percent) LTFT (percent) Oil Temp (F) CL/OL / Fuel Sys Status (2 = CL, 4 = OL) IAT / Intake Air Temp (F) IAM / Ignition Advance Multiplier FLKC / Fine Learning Knock Correction (degrees) Its also a little strange your ltft is always zero , was this log done imediatly after flash ? Or have you disabled ltft What are your end goals ? The three mods you mention Craford blocks Intake Throttle body Wont trealy help you much but will cost you a lot NA you wsnt a good catless header and exhaust Tune Or tunefor e85 fuel or flex tune will be best bang for buck Craford block work on stock cars but on runed cars you can get similar results with cam riming adjustments Throttle body not rearly needed stock one flows well Same with intakes very minimal gains The supploed perrin scaling is not that great and will usually require further adjustment |

It is just one of my Daily Drivers. I just drive it for fun and do some mods to it to have fun from time to time. Not going on the track. |
