Tint Bubble under Brake Light?

I just got my windows tinted yesterday, and opted for the nicer carbon ceramic brand name tint. So, I'm invested at about two hundred bucks in the outcome. Today, I was inspecting the tint (Yes, I did this yesterday too), and I noticed an odd bubble at the bottom center of the rear windshield. Now, I know that bubbles form under tint as it's curing and they go away, but the ones I've seen are usually smaller than this, which is around 10 inches or so long and 1.5-2 inches tall.

Is this a fault that I should have repaired or just a larger version of the normal water bubbles? If it does need repaired, is there anything I can do to make the process more successful? That is, is it there because the tech couldn't get to that spot and I need to remove something?

Sorry this is a bit hard to see. It's running along the bottom-most defroster line.

Thanks!
Will

Take it back and have them work on it.
My bet is they didn't take the extra effort in removing the third brake light. And hoped for the best.

Should be a simple fix but eh, you paid for their work, they should honor any error with the install

I'd call them and let them know.
If it hasn't gone away, have them fix it.

Did they even take out the brake light to do the tint? Takes all of about a minute to pop the upper portion of the light out. Removing the base is a bit more involved and hopefully unnecessary. I'd imagine they could work well enough with the base still in place.

I wasn’t able to hang out while they did the work. So I didn’t get to monitor. Wish I had.

The plan is to take it back in on Monday.

Just pop it off yourself

Then get a credit card and press it down. Should take all of 5 minutes. No need to take it to them imo

Update: I was wrong. It’s fine.

For science I feel that it’s my imperative duty to report that the giant bubble resolved itself overnight.

Now you know. I, of course, knew all along that it would be fine and only wished to provide an object lesson. Thus the drama. Which was, as I said, just an excellent bit of acting.

You’re welcome.

Maybe the bubble disappeared because the temp drop at night.

Installing films that could leave bubbles should be done with a heat gun. Heat will cause the bubble to expand so you can spot it easier.
