TRD - Stoptech Brake Pads

Yes, another common topic.

I reviewed this before posting: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60438

However,

I am looking for brake pads that are an upgrade to the original brake pads that came with the car. I want to have pads that are good for winter (with snow) and that brake in a shorter distance than original

I came across FT86Speedfactory website and I don't know which to choose. TRD or Stoptech or others

I use StopTech Sports for daily driving. They're definitely an upgrade from the stock pads. However, they do make noise on occasion and dust a little more. The dusting seemed worse when they were new, but has decreased over time.

Stopping distance is dictated by grip, the 86's brakes are perfectly adequate for pretty much any street tire. Once ABS kicks in the brakes can't do anymore work, you're relying on the tire to grip, if you're not activating ABS you're not braking as hard as you could.
I'd pick whichever was cheaper between the stoptech and the TRD.
