FI for 2017 models?
Is there a timeline for when turbo/supercharger kits will be available? My understanding is the ecu tuning isn't quite sorted due to ecu revisions.

Pretty hardware will be compatible with all the existing kits, it's the Calibration ID of the ECU.

I'm getting whispers that the 2017 car with its pretty new inlet manifold is different to the previous years so its possible that some SC kits may not fit
hoping to confirm this one way or another soon |

The red manifold fits on 13-16 engines; its a direct bolt-on.

This wasn't an NA twin, it was a turbo build, so it isn't the same comparison.

On an N/A car it may only be worth 5hp (or less) but in the link it was a 443hp car with a big turbo! At those power levels, which is much higher airflow than the stock part was designed for, its perfectly reasonable to see 15-20hp IMO

There's an increasing body of evidence indicating that the real 2017 NA power increase is more on the order of 18-20 BHP rather than the claimed 5. More dyno runs will help tell if that's true.

This^^^ But to piggy back on that comment. The car has been rated at 205 BHP, but there have been dynos showing that the '17MY actually puts down more than 5 extra HP or TQ to the wheels than the previous years. Is there substantial proof of this, nope, but enough that it is very possible the revised car puts out more than advertised. Of course there are many more reasons for this than just the intake manifold.

Well the older FA20 was 10-15hp down on the claimed 197hp, so the new engine looks to be actually outputting the rated power now then.
The intake manifold is only part of the changes though, new mapping intake and exhaust header all play a part. |

agreed
it looks like from the scanty data so far that the tune has been revised on the latest cars to be far less conservative, that coupled with the different manifolds looks to mean they now actually make what is claimed for them whereas the earlier cars do not |
