Suspension question
I am new on suspension system. So, I am planning to drop my car, and I am planning to get Tein Flex Z.
Do I need front and rear LCA? camber bolt as well? Also,,when I do alignment, what is the best handling/grip setting for DD and semi hard cornering? However, I dont want too much camber. Thanks. |

Thanks, i ll keep that in mind, and tell the alignment guy to do so. More camber in the front and less in the back. |

Yup basically. -2.5 front shouldn't give you bad camber wear especially if you drive it a litter harder then a normal car in the corners. I would start with about a 0.5 degree difference front to back.

@go_a_way1 I'm about to put my car on TRD springs. should be 1" or a little more and going to 17x8.25 w/235's. I was gonna buy some bolts for the front, but do you think LCA's for the rear are called for, as well?

I do care about performance (though I'm getting cheap wheels, but I won't be using them for autocross), I had just thought I wasn't going to need it. I'll look and see what options there are for LCA's. I also care about quality and shiny-ness

You don't "need" them but I would recommend it. If your already paying for an alignment may as well have your car set up the way you want it right?

I have an appointment with an alignment guy on the 18th and we talked on the phone quite a bit. I'm skipping the LCA and toe arms until we have dialed in the car once without it. I'll report back if the answer ends up being "You must" instead of "recommended". I don't see getting the LCA and not the toe though....
edit: forgot rear toe is already adjustable. No reason for toe links. |

I would suggest to skip the camber bolts. The camber plates that come with your flex z will give you more than enough adjustment up front. Camber bolts also have a higher chance of slipping (in comparison to your plates) and causing your alignment to be off from what you want.
