RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE and his 100mph run sounds so damn good

I agree it is exhausting!

That sounds nice and I found someone else local with the Borla UEL header on his car and sounds nice, but I've heard the build quality of the Borlas is pretty bad for the price though

Look into the GRuppe S uel, better build quality than the borla for cheaper, also the collector is way better in the gruppe than the borla.

I spent like an hour looking through UEL videos when I was bored. do NOT do it! it will make you want to buy the UEL then and there lol. I then bought a gruppe-s UEL the next day and spent another hour looking up gruppe-s videos haha. I bought the header and overpipe with heat shield, gonna install it either tomorrow or Monday. gonna be good.

Be careful with Borla, I've seen a lot of people crack them after a while. Look into Gruppe-S or if you want one of the best headers out there, look into JDL or ACE

It's not really a quality issue per say it's just more bang for your buck honestly:

this is the gruppe collector:

And this is the Borla UEL collector:

The more recent batches of the borla uel have less of a glob weld though, and more of an absolute flat plate with tack welds

It's more of a question of would you rather pay $650 for a borla uel that looks like that? OR would rather pay:

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81839
$610 for what is basically a Tomei uel white boxed, overpipe, gaskets, and an oil pan heat shield shipped to your door

It is extremely exhausting! and here I am with my stock exhaust still on

I've been researching exhausts for about 3 months and I've pretty much narrowed it down to the GReddy Evo GT. I just want to finalize some research on it and I will probably order it today.

and yes, I was going to do a Borla UEL header as well, until I heard all the bad stuff about the product and that you have to tune a header as well. So I'm gonna go with something more simple like the Greddy Evo, later down the road I'll tune my car.

I want the Greedy Evo as well but now I'm backing out on the Borla if they crack and break. They used to be a such a good name as for front pipe I dunno, maybe HKS. More research I have to do there too, borla also makes that too

I thought Borla just had a bad batch and they fixed the problem long ago?

. Greedy .

I'm starting to notice a lot of people that were disappointed after the purchase tho. Apparently it's pretty quite and I have noticed that in some videos.

Look into the Dezod exhaust, another fellow 86er on the forums mentioned it. It sounds good.
