Is cleaning MAF with CRC MAF Cleaner safe?

Hello all I have an oiled K&N air filter on my BRZ and just cleaned and oiled it a week ago. I've heard about oil getting on the MAF sensor from these types of filters so I was thinking of giving it a quick cleaning with CRC MAF sensor cleaner.

Is using CRC MAF sensor cleaner safe to use on out MAF sensors? Will I have any issues?

LOL!!

Yes that is what they make it for. I have used it to clean mine maybe 3 times now. Just be sure you let it dry (like 5-10 minutes tops) before you restart your car.

Haha thanks, just asking because some people seem to be against it.

you'd probably know if you needed to clean your MAF. doesn't hurt to clean it, though, so long as you don't touch the sensor while doing so.
