Rollbar por... err pretty pictures

Well, I got my car back from the shop today and the new roll bar looks staggeringly awesome. I can't help but share it; I'm very happy!

Unfortunately it had to be done this way in order to get it powder coated; He couldn't get it in and out of the car in one piece.

That said the powder coating makes it look super nice!

Now all you need to do is learn the 'resize' feature when posting up pictures because those things are HUGE.

The powder coating was done for looks because I am vain. The actual roll bar is so I can have fixed back seats and harnesses to hold me in place on the track.

I don't know the exact weight but was told it would be around 60 pounds when planning it out. The roll bar was made and installed by TC Design in Campbell: http://www.tcdesignfab.com/

The rollbar looks really nice. I haven't been to Tony's shop since they moved out of Milpitas but he does great work.

Late to this party, but not trying to nit-pick. Where are the 'foot plates' at the bottom of the cage where it attaches to the uni-body? Without foot plates the cage could punch through the frame in a serious crash...

Look again, there are clearly footings there.
