GAWD DAMN IT!!!

so this dumb ass lady hit my parked car today while i was out at a job site. Royally fucked up my car and believe it or not her silver 2002 CRV was in worse shape.. the passenger side front wheel was bent in and under her frame

who knows what the hell she was doing to hit my car on a quiet side street. Either on her fucking phone or paying attention to her stupid dog instead of watching where she was going
i can only hope this has frame damage so i get a brand new car out of the deal. (replacement insurance) Otherwise i'm stuck with a depreciated value car for a mistake i didn't even make other than taking it out from my garage this morning

FUUUUCKK!!!!!!

Did the accident give your left back wheel negative camber, or is that just the picture playing tricks on me?

negative camber? i'm unfamiliar with that term

if you're asking of the back wheel is fucked up? then yes it is, it's bent at a fucked up angle and the car was not driveable. the boss had to give me a ride home today and took all my tools with him and tomorrow i get picked up for work

i just hope this all gets sorted out soon. i miss driving her already

Negative camber is what everyone is referring to when they say camber on most cars. Negative is really the only way you would go on a street car, so people just drop the word negative. You could use positive camber, but it's usually only on the inside wheels of an oval racing car.

Unfortunately it looks like you have more than just body damage with all of that camber. Hopefully they do a good job getting that straigtened out so it drives as it should again.

May need to go back one more step as to what camber is!

Camber angle is the angle made by the wheels of a vehicle; specifically, it is the angle between the vertical axis of the wheels used for steering and the vertical axis of the vehicle when viewed from the front or rear. It is used in the design of steering and suspension. If the top of the wheel is farther out than the bottom (that is, away from the axle), it is called positive camber; if the bottom of the wheel is farther out than the top, it is called negative camber.

My quarter panel was reversed into and I had a dent right over the wheel. Cost $1500 to fix and repaint to perfection. That is going to be a lot more than $1500... I hope you get a new one out of it.. get a monogram if you can!

That is a LOT of damage to do to a parked car... I would make a diminished value claim if possible.
