Question Starting a new Youtube channel, I need your feedback.

Hey guys,

I wanted to get some feedback on an idea I had. I was thinking of starting a Youtube channel focusing on car culture rather than the cars themselves. For example, I would interview car owners, shop owners, models, photographers, car clubs, etc. I just want to capture the story behind the cars and how much hard work goes into this car hobby.

I am not sure on a format yet, but i would want to keep the videos short and sweet to keep everyone interested throughout the video.

I do live in a area where there is huge influence of different types of car styles so I have access to a lot of different people I can approach.

Please let me know your thoughts and any other advice you might have.

I wouldn't mind watching what you just wrote down, but for me I would also like to just see owners and their modded cars. And maybe you can interview the owners of the modded cars and be able to drive it or sit with them as they are driving it.

recommend major editing skills, I wouldn't watch a video of a person talking about cars, I would watch a video of cars with a person talking in the background if that makes sense.

Yes, the cars will definitely be included in the background, it will be a mix of both.

I like this format... educational, funny and down right scary all at the same time.

BONUS: GT86 featured near the end of video.

If you're doing this simply as a hobby then I say go for it!

If you're looking to rack up the subscriptions and make that YouTube money I'd recommend another field of interest to target. The problem with car related vlogs is that so many have been doing it for so much longer. Not to mention you'd be competing with larger companies and organizations who have people with professional level equipment and editing skills.

A video like this:

Takes hours of editing and not to mention equipment that will cost you and hurt your wallet.
