$H.. My girlfriend says

So, I do my best to explain car stuff to my girlfriend and break her in slowly without boring her to tears. I tend to cut off from the talk when she gets that glazed over look in her eyes (you guys know the one).

One of the many subjects I cover with her is rims, why I like one vs the other, and ask her opinion on them. Tonight while showing her http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6364 and explaining that the weight savings will be great for my car she responded, "Can't you just take a big dump before you drive for the same effect".

Of course that brought of the conversation of the combined weight reduction of doing both, and the fact that tires are unsprung weight, while the dump isn't.

Just wondering, are you interested at all when she is telling you about her new shoes? Imagine rim talk....

Touche, although I did go with her to a famous footwear the other day so she could get shoes (I took her karting and she wore sandals!).

I'm one of the lucky ones I believe. My girl drives a g37 and is involved with the g37 forums. She has a lot to learn but loves asking questions. She recently did some visual mods and is wanting to get some wheels and coilovers. I love that she's so much into cars

The girl I'm trying to get at surprised me when she asked me if I was into JDM. I said I was thinking about getting a Subaru or an FR-S and she threw WRX at me. I was in and said yeah WRX I pre-ordered my FR-S though lol.

Tell her after a "big dump" your body weight does not change which is a result of "displacement." Look it up

You should all be talking about wheels by the way, not rims.
