What is the OEM midpipe diameter?

I am going to get fabricated a 14" Magnaflow muffler on the OEM midpipe in hopes to reduce the rasp I am getting from my catless straight pipe setup. Do you think this will work?

Diameter I believe is 2.1" give or take a tiny bit last time I measured around. It's small.

That should work. A muffler shop should be able to weld it on that size and most of those mufflers have inlets that size as well.

You think 14" or 18" length? Want reduction in rasp but not sound.

Hmm, that's a tricky one. 18" if you for SURE want it to reduce the rasp. 14" might be questionable. It's really hard to say until you actually hear it. I've got two 14" resonators in my exhaust and its still loud, but it took out any chance of rasp.
