If you get a spacer like that, it is going to need to be an "Adapter". Usually at least 25mm-30mm, literally bolts onto the hub and has new hub-bolts sticking out.
I have seen some 5x114.3 wheel hubs that will bolt on directly to the ft86 so there is no need for adapters... +/- $800 Kind of like 5 lug conversion kits for your S14, same thing... |

exactly yes
By the time you put on a 25-30mm adapter the wheels will be sticking out ready for over fenders.. |

Not true. Kics makes 10mm and 15mm conversion spacers that would work perfect with R33 wheels. Depending on wheel design, you might have to cut studs.
If you decide not to do this, I would be very interested in buying your gtr wheels. |

If they make a spacer that is 10mm that is news to me! Won't see me take it on a track though... I'd use them parked... |

15mm should work fine with the R33 wheels as long as you use the stock 215/45 tire size.
My friend used 10mm conversion spacer to put R33s on his FR-S and they fit no problem, so 15mm shouldn't be an issue. He had to cut the stock studs though if you were wondering. And those pics of my car above are actually R33 reps that I got from Japan. Limited run by M2 Hanbai back in the day in a much less aggresive sizing so I was able to run a larger spacer so I didnt have to cut my stock studs to make them work. But now that I have confirmed that real R33's will fit, debating what to do next because I can find real ones all day and I am having trouble finding more of these reps on YAJ and I need drift spares! |
