E-Brake clunk?
I've noticed that if I apply the e-brake while moving (slow or fast), the very first time there's quite a loud clunk in the rear of the car.
If I do it again, there's no noise. It only clunks if I've been driving for a while (presumable been using my brakes or reversing the load on the axle / hubs) Does this happen for anyone else? |

It's the drum brake engaging. It'll clunk every time you engage it.
Question is, why are you engaging it while you're moving?

This freaked me out so bad when I first got the car. Best to use it only as a parking brake or in real emergencies. (cop=emergency)
