My dealership said that the option is available for ~$1000 to upgrade the firmware.

After playing around with the AHA app on my iPhone, I'm not so sure it's worth it.

no way for a grand ill get a used '14 head unit later. i bet once it actually comes out on cars itll get a lot cheaper. or someone might upload it and we can all become pirates!!!!

To be honest this is a situation where pirating is a 100% ok from me. Your shitty head unit becomes decent with a software update and you won't give it out for at least a decent price. That's a load of bull.

^ For people that bought a model year younger car. I agree. I would see the difference if there would need to have a part replaced (IE the entire head unit). However, this is just software. I would even shell out a few hundred for it.
