Water in reverse lights

I washed my car this morning and found water inside my reverse lights when I was waxing this afternoon. Keep an eye out for this boys and girls, It could be another issue...

I haven't noticed any taillight condensation yet. For what it is worth, and if anyone is keeping track, my car is #2955.

Not sure if serial matters that much as mine was in the 3000s and I had bad tail lights. I'm going to go check my reverse now

Take your car to the dealership and have them replace it. Its a known issue with the car. I got mine replaced with no hassle. My passenger side tail light had water in it as well.

Not true, my Bentley is a turd. The center caps don't even spin with the wheel. How cheap can they get!

Try using a leaf blower to blw the water out, also the front grill.

Yea, that is a known issue for early productions. There is a thread. The team has determined it was a production line issue. Rear light housing for some cars were cracked during production when tightening the screws. There is actually a document issued to the dealerships from Toyota regarding this.

Before going the leaf-blower route, I'd just take it to the dealer and have them fix it.

He said reverse lights. Reverse lights are not in the tail light on this car. This is the first report I have seen of water in the reverse light.

There's nothing in the taillights yet, just the reverse lights way down at the bottom of the bumper. I remember seeing the post on the taillight condensation/water issue, but not on this one. That's why I posted.
If there is already a thread about water in the reverse lights, I'm sorry, I must have missed it...

I just washed the car today and noticed there is some water at the bottom of the reverse light. I then looked closer and found out that the water actually was in between the reverse light and the plastic piece (part of defuser). It really looks like the water is inside of the reverse light. I was wondering the OP might have seen what I saw.

I'll double check next time I wash, but the dealer that sold me the car has seen it as well, and thought the same as me. It does seem odd that a simple wash could cause water to get in there though.
