clanking sound with idle

I am getting some clanking sound coming from the engine when my idle dips. Should i go ahead and take the car in? will dealer reflash without CEL?

Is it a one time cluck or more like a rattling sound over 2 seconds or so?
If the noise you're hearing is the noise you hear in the video on this post at 25 second, then I believe that's normal and my idling RPM dips too when it's making that noise.

Sounds like the engine lugging from being left in gear at too low of an rpm... is that the case?

Weird. Mine was making this noise from the time I picked the car up. I'm glad that the sales person explained this noise to me before I took off. Otherwise, it would have freaked me out. Anyways, if this is the noise you're talking about, then I wouldn't worry.
