Don't know about the light, but did you make sure your parking brake was up when trying to configure the settings on the navi?

Parking brake needs to be up or you need to mod the harness to tell the system the e-brake is on all of the time.

Door light.... No idea.

Simple troubleshoot for the door light. Open the door and depress the black rubber door sensor that is inside the door jamb. If the light goes out, it's not the sensor. If it stays on, it's the sensor.

I have no advice for the NAV issue.

If you want to have the mod for the Nav on the Pioneer talk to Jeff Bates @ http://www.lockdownsecuritycanada.ca/

He did my mod, I had to get the RCA harness but now can watch DVD's, dial numbers, change addresses, etc. The harness was about 50 bucks from eBay.
