OFT v4 map questions
From what I read, it seems like the car will always start at 0.7 IAM. Roughly how much power is lost compared to 1.0 IAM?
There aren't separate maps for 91 and 93 octane, is the 0.7 used to account for 91? If you're on 93 octane, does it eventually reach to 1.0 IAM? Is the factory tune IAM strategy the same (start at lower IAM then slowly increase)? Assuming you're on 93 and you still don't see 1.0, has anyone tried adding a 2-3 gallons of E85 to boost the octane while still running on pump gas map? |

from 0.7 to 1 is like a difference of 2 degrees of timing... more or less 5 or 6 hp
if you put e85 in it you just mess the fuel trims learning and consume a lot more fuel for no increase in performance, if you keep using the petrol tune |
