Methanol power!

So ive been playing with the tuning on my car lately i had intake, catless front pipe, muffler delete, and i mixed 10 gallons of 91 pump gas with a gallon of 99.9% pure methanol, also added a touch of fuel stabilizer to prevent the fuel from separating. I tuned my car with the OFT ots tunes, stage 2 93 oct for EL header and WOW. It pulls so much stronger through the entire rev range. I pulled with a civic SI kseries 2.4 before i ran mixed gas and and had it tuned and he pulled like 3-4 car lengths from 60-140. Just did a fee pulls with the same car and i pulled 2-3 lengths on him from 60-140. Very happy with the results of my tune. When i dont run meth in the gas i flash back to 91 stage 2 tune and it runs great, i assume my catless front pipe muffler delete and intake are enough to make up for a header considering it can be ran on an entirly stock car besides the header.

I hope you kept an eye on your AFRs. Do you have E85 available near you?

Woof, to me sounds a little risky - methanol is quite a bit more corrosive than E85, and I hope that stabilizer does the job of keeping things from separating. Keep an eye on your AFRs as your tank gets low

I mixed up a cup of it and left it undisturbed for 2 days no sign of separation, also i always give the steering wheels a few flicks when i start driving to mix the gas in the tank around. Definitely not a long term solution where methanol is corrosive but i think ill be fine if i hust flash to 93 every now and then when i decide i want a little extra out of it. Dont want to be mixing gas all the time. Its only 10% mixture so shouldnt be a problem.

I would be very careful with this. You are running a tune designed for 93 and a aftermarket catless header. I would constantly run with the OFT plugged in monitoring AFR(like others have said) but also IAM, knock correction, and FLKC. Another danger of running a mixture like this is that Methanol requires more fuel to reach the same AFR than standard gasoline. The more methanol you put in the more fuel you have to tune the car to add.
