Clicking noise from rear end when parking with hand brake engaged

I searched and couldn't find anything relevant to my issue....

When I park the car and engage the handbrake, there is one (sometimes two) audible click/clinks from the rear end when I release the foot brake and allow the car to rest on the handbrake. Curious if anyone had run into this issue or not. I suspect either a bushing issue or the axle nuts might be loose. I had the latter issue with my old STi and a simple retorque solved it. Just started noticing it the last few days so figured I'd ask you guys.

Google search lubricating the e-brake, it's been mentioned before, 3+ years in it dries out and starts clicking.

This, it's nothing to worry about and super easy to take care of.
