You want a tS dash in LHD? No Problem

So some may not want to wait for the 2015 model BRZ to get the dash. I did not want to wait and I found some good ole 3M vinyl on ebay and went to work. The color is almost spot on.

This is the type of 3M ordered
[ame="http://www.amazon.com/3M-Scotchprint-Carbon-Fiber-Anthracite/dp/B00597WDN6"]Amazon.com: 3M Scotchprint 1080 Carbon Fiber Vinyl Flex Wrap Anthracite CF201 60"x12": Automotive[/ame]

Take your dash pieces out and grab your heat gun. Go to town and it will look like this.

I added a little touch of my own with a small subtle STi decal in the bottom right.

Looks so good! How did you get such a smooth wrap? I'll attempt this today.

USE A TON of patience. Do no rush the job at all. Basically stick the flat surfaces first then work your way around. When you get a wrinkle, pop out the hair dryer (heat gun preferred) and do a couple passes and you will see the wrap move and shrink from the heat. Pull gently out and press on the curves. You will get the hang of it no problem after the first corner pull.

I wrapped mine twice and I can't get the stereo bezel right. Wrinkly in the bottom left corner and then the corners around the HU both pull out once it gets hot in the car. Once with a hair dryer, once with a powerful heat gun.

I'm thinking about doing this with a red color vinyl though (similar to the ones seen in BMWs). Any tips on how to cut the vinyl to make it so smooth?

Cutting is the easy part. Make your cuts around the back where you can't see and they don't really matter,

Exactly. Stretch the visible area and then when you pull it to the back then make your cuts. When you see it wrinkle, pull back up, heat, then stretch again. Work from one corner to the other and you will be good. Just be patient with it, it took me almost 2 hours for everything. Do not rush the job and when you see a bubble, pull up, press and heat.
