Yep @BPM, I had the same issue. With my 18 x 9.5" +45 I avoided fender rub but at full lock left the inside of front left tyre was rubbing on the chassis rail.

I had minor steering stops put in that restrict the lock until just before rubbing. Don't even notice the minor change in turning circle.

I was going to put 5mm spacers in but went for steering stops instead to avoid any fender rubbing. Was the perfect solution for me.

5mm spacers for you would change you to +30 offset and that's quite a bit of poke. It'd be illegal here as you'd need to run too much camber to get the wheels withing the fender line. Not sure on the rules where you are.
