I'm not going to be selfish and run, putting OTHERS in danger including the officer. I would just sit there and be a good suspect while obeying any directions given to me. The only person in danger in that situation is me, and I will keep it that way and let the officers arrest me and get me in custody.

running is a decision based on the circumstances and recent events.
when you get pulled over and tell you have been set up depending on the circumstances and the people involved
can you tell how experienced an officer is just by looking at him?
lets say he accidentally moved his eyes a certain way and the cop interpreted as him thinking about being insubordinate. The cop pulls his gun and what if he freaked out and his hands came off the wheel as a natural reaction to having his life threatened and the cop saw him releasing his hands as an attempt to grab the gun that never existed in the first place. bam hes dead.
dead people cant settle anything in court and maybe thats what his ex girlfriend was hoping.
