Learning to drive a MT car is not hard. Plenty of people (including myself) have purchased MT cars without knowing how to drive them. It's something you can learn the basics of in a parking lot in a few hours and get better at over time.
You're not going to cause too much damage to the clutch (or engine) of a new car these days by stalling a few times or slipping the clutch. Just sayin'.
