You should have ordered brackets as soon as you sat in the car. Ordered mine and they were hand made and shipped to me from Japan in a couple months. Couple years later,
I've got even better seats that are just as low. Sold the brackets for purchase price, and sold the OEM seats to recoupe half the cost of my custom seat project.
Don't blame the manufacturer for not giving you a seat that fits your body, just do it yourself.

I'd have to say that I'm 80% sure that the FT-86 variants will be way softer than an S2K. It will have that same flavor, but not as spicy.
