If you have a read of this thread (yes it is massive) I believe there's a work around so the factory USB still works. Here in NZ our cars don't have a separate factory USB, it is built into the OEM head unit.

Sound is great. Unit is pretty good and has a capacitive screen. I m still playing with different apps for music but you can get whatever you want from the google play store.
Does take about 35s to boot up on start up though.
