Factory spoilers rarely produce downforce. Downforce=Drag=Lower MPG. More on this in a second.

I highly doubt it. The car is light, not very powerful and is set up to handle quite nicely. These cars are rarely going to see cornering speeds in which a spoiler like this, which in all likelihood only reduces lift, will matter at all.
