This is the answer.. first start of the day yields outside ambient temps thru the vents..
after the car has been running and then off.. the ducts get heated up by the
engines heat nearby.. so when you enter the car again and the fan is on or the outside air flows thru the vent.. you feel the heat built up coming thru..
this is not a lexus and is minimal on noise and temp isolation materials..
