I've seen Mustangs with Rotrex (Centrifugal) and very short pipe that has a mid-section with water-to-air heat exchanger. Very similar to Petite Racing supercharger for RX-8 that bumped 190 whp to 280+ whp.

That was one crazy power adder.
But that one was twin-screw (I think).
