RL - You're doing your own oil changes, right? Note the difference in viscosity with Jeff's uoa. 9.3 cst's @ 100C is where a 30 weight begins. Some oils do thin out with use and then thicken back up again and could be what happened here. This is something noticeable if you do several uoa's on the same oil over the entire interval.

I would probably try to keep the intervals at just under 7,500 miles, despite what Blackstone says.
