I've tried both, and yes. No state tax, no emissions checks, you can shit without the state coming to inspect it, and you're allowed to defend yourself if need be. Florida is humid, flat, and has lots of fire ants. You can't win them all lol.

Texas is, in my opinion, the best of both worlds. The best of all worlds, really. If I had my choice is be there . So Texas > florida > Cali > everywhere else, IMHO lol.
