The Plasma Blue is what is really doing it for me right now, so I'm leaning towards a BRZ. I anticipate much mixing and matching (like installing the top-of-the-line 86's digital LED gauges, for example).

You do realize that the tail lights are the same, right? The spoiler is optional, so your second point has as much validity as the former. BRZ will most likely have the iPod dock option as well. I don't see why they wouldn't.
The in-dash navi is optional for both cars (depending on trim level)
I think you are reading too much into those
specific pics of those
specific cars. The debate is the cars in general, not a showdown between the 2 cars from the show.
Main differences: front bumpers, headlights/fogs/leds, side vents, interior color/materials, and the one that apparently has the largest influence on a lot of people (due to brand prejudice and other factors) is the badge. Everything else is essentially the same (as far as we know)
