You should be checking your gauges on each straight away, and your AFR will tell you if something is wrong with the pump. My best guess as to what caused Frs300's car to blow up is something being wrong with the fuel system install, although I haven't heard if he had the dealer flash the car or if he flashed the Full Blown basemap himself.

Did anyone actually verify the map on the ECU? If he was running the larger injectors w/ an OEM base map he would be running pretty damned rich once the ecu drops out of closed loop and tossing quite a bit of black smoke.
