Shocked nobody has suggested this yet, flimsy stamped plate like that with low torque needs some material for give and to fill the gaps,....thats why you guys are having repeated issues with just sealant......no bueno.

I'm going to take the car in, file a claim, and get it fixed by the dealer. I mean come on, this is a new car and it's already leaking oil! Stealerships need to know about this serious problem and fix it because many FRS/BRZ owners have this problem. If it leaks again after the stealership repairs it, I'll repair it myself by making a custom gasket like what you suggested because it makes more sense to a perminant solution of fixing this problem. Thanks for the suggestion.
