How are you finding 96 octane in the Bay Area?
@OP-Sorry for your loss. And not to kick you while you're down or anything, but I will say that spinning the tires in first and hitting 6000 rpm in second doesn't seem like "normal driving" to me, especially on a not fully setup or tested brand new turbo setup. I know the pull of boost and the excitement of your new setup is hard to resist, but I think this could have been avoided if you had waited to beat on the thing until you had all your sensors etc. setup and working. Heck, I wouldn't tune a factory turbo car much past stock without a wideband and some way to monitor the boost, much less a full aftermarket setup.
