Where did you read that? It's not in any of the press releases! Both Toyota and Subaru are claiming it's an exciting and interactive sports car, but they've never claimed "best handling" anything anywhere.
Your comment about "B.S. Prius tire" only shows how dramatically you've misinterpreted the whole point of the car; to be an involving car at low limits....like the Miata. If the car
feels like a Cayman, it'll be due to the interaction between chassis, steering, and driver, not from lap times or typical statistics.
