Hi, I'm new to this forum, but have been following the Toyotabaru for a long time. I've been trying to figure out what should replace my current 00 Integra daily driver for a while. I have a long commute and a highly modified fun car already, so sometimes I think about going luxury for my daily. The problem is, I really enjoy my nimble little Integra. Even with only 140hp, 140k miles, door dings, creaks and rattles, etc... it's a very FUN car to drive. It couldn't be more different than my Z06 and I like that about it. Also, every luxury car I've driven bores me, even my friend's 6spd A5, it's just TOO smooth, makes you feel more like a passenger than a driver. Now, I have yet to drive an S4 or a CTS-V, but I find it hard to believe some of these sport-luxury cars will give me that fun-to-drive factor I'm looking for. The 135i is also a car that I think I need to test drive, looks like fun. But for now, the FR-S/BRZ is at the top of my list. Plus, is WAY cheaper than everything else I'm looking at. I'm not super concerned about the image, just want to enjoy my 2hrs/day I spend in the car as much as possible. I think I'll confuse the Scion salesman when I tell him some of the cars I'm cross-shopping!

Here are some pics of my 03 Z06. It has a 427ci LS7 with custom dry sump oiling system, coilovers, big brakes, built driveline with 3.90 gears, dual disc clutch, Sparco seats and a bunch of other stuff. It made 555rwhp n/a and ran 10.8 at 134mph no Nitto road race/street tires. It's an absolute blast and I drive it every day it doesn't rain or snow, I put about 10k miles/year on it.

And my Teggie:
